FET website
Educational Networking Platform for Students

Intro
The Faculty of Engineering & Technology at Kumasi Technical University needed a comprehensive digital platform to showcase their legacy of excellence. Founded in 1993, the faculty has been generating innovative engineering talent for Ghana's industries but lacked a modern web presence to match their reputation.

The Problem
Students, faculty, and prospective applicants struggled to access critical information about the engineering programmes and resources.
No centralized platform for programme information and academic schedules
Difficult for prospective students to explore engineering departments
Limited visibility into faculty staff expertise and qualifications
Missing online hub for news, events, and faculty achievements
Approach
I developed a comprehensive faculty website that serves the entire engineering community effectively.
Created department showcase for Mechanical, Chemical, and Civil Engineering programmes
Built staff directory with detailed faculty profiles and expertise areas
Implemented academic timetable and resource sections for students
Added blog, gallery, and news sections to highlight faculty activities
Results
The website successfully positioned FET-KsTU as a modern engineering education leader.
Centralized information hub for all engineering programmes and departments
Enhanced accessibility for students to faculty resources and schedules
Improved visibility for faculty achievements and research initiatives
Streamlined communication between students, staff, and administration

Conclusion
This project demonstrates how digital transformation enhances academic institutions. FET-KsTU now has a platform that reflects their 30+ year legacy while positioning them for continued excellence in engineering education and innovation.
